September Round-Up

Outdoor Activations

Noemie Thomson Wins at Graean Cymru

Our September campaign began in style as Noemie Thomson took a convincing win at Graean Cymru, part of the UCI Gravel World Series. Noemie attacked with 30km to go, opening up a decisive gap and crossing the line over a minute clear of her nearest rival.

It was another great team performance, with Lizzie Hermolle finishing 4th, Lucy Lee 7th, and Lizi Brooke 8th. Four riders inside the top ten on such a demanding course

GP Stuttgart

On Sunday, 14th September, we lined up for GP Stuttgart (1.Pro) in Germany, a challenging 124km route featuring rolling terrain and repeated short climbs from the race start in Filderstadt to the city-centre finish in Stuttgart.

The final laps through the city centre provided a fast and technical finale, with the peloton splitting multiple times. Noemie Thomson and Lucy Lee led the team home in 24th and 28th respectively, the second and third riders from continental teams in a stacked field.

Lizzie Hermolle – National Gravel Champion

Just a week after Noemie’s win in Wales, Lizzie Hermolle claimed the Elite Women’s National Gravel Championship in emphatic style.

The race was defined by a long solo effort from Georgia Taylor-Brown, who led for an impressive 90km. Lizzie showed exceptional patience and strength, gradually closing the gap and making the catch with just 5km to go before powering clear to take the win, and the national stripes!

Sea Otter Girona – UCI Gravel World Series

The team’s gravel calendar continued in Spain at Sea Otter Girona, part of the UCI Gravel World Series on Saturday, 20th September. The 107km route featured over 1,800m of elevation in the scenic Les Gavarres massif, with long climbs, technical descents, and rolling countryside trails.

Lucy Lee finished a strong 21st, while Lizzie Hermolle, unfortunately, suffered a puncture that ended her race early.

Sophie Lewis Wins in Aalst 🇧🇪

Rounding out a successful month, Sophie Lewis claimed victory at the Aalst Kermesse in Belgium. After joining the early breakaway, she rode smart and strong to stay clear and sprint to the win from the front group, another excellent performance as the team’s European campaign continues.

Looking Ahead

Our season will carry on into October, with GP Eibar, the Gravel World Championships and the track World Championships all taking place. Stay tuned for updates.
