June proved to be one of the busiest and most exciting months so far for DAS-Hutchinson as the team tackled a packed race calendar across Europe. From the rolling hills of Britain to the mountain passes of Switzerland, and the high-speed sprints of Copenhagen, the squad showed consistency, determination, and delivered a standout victory to make June a month to remember.

The action began with the Tour of Norway (UCI 2.1) at the end of May, rolling into the start of June. Despite challenging conditions, the team showed strength in depth. Julia Van Bokhoven led the way with a solid 39th place finish overall, with Lucy Lee, Nora Tveit, Ruby Oakes, and Libby Smithson all gaining valuable race experience against a strong international field. Although the race ended early for Natalie Grinczer, the group left Norway sharper and more prepared for the weeks ahead.

Next came the Tour of Britain (UCI 2.WWT). Racing on home roads always brings extra motivation, and the team delivered with a determined performance across four tough stages. Robyn Clay was our top finisher, placing 29th overall, with Morven Yeoman not far behind in 56th. The squad showed resilience and cohesion throughout, holding their own in a competitive World Tour field. A highlight of the race was Tiffany Keep’s stage 2 breakaway, where she spent almost 90km at the head of the race. She was rewarded with the combativity prize and a trip to the podium.

From the British roads, the team travelled to Switzerland for the Tour de Suisse (UCI 2.WWT). The mountainous terrain provided a true test, but the riders rose to the challenge. Morven Yeoman impressed again with a 33rd place finish in the general classification, showing her climbing ability on some of Europe’s toughest ascents. Lucy Lee, Lizzie Hermolle, and Julia Van Bokhoven rode consistently throughout the stages, building form and experience. It was another demanding race against the best climbers in the world, but the team held their own and fought for some great results.

The team then travelled to Denmark for the Copenhagen Sprint (UCI 1.WWT) on the 21st of June, where the high-speed, technical city circuit provided a different kind of challenge. Aoife O’Brien led the charge with a 25th-place finish, with Libby Smithson and Julia Van Bokhoven also completing the race. Although Nora Tveit and Sophie Lewis were unable to finish, the event was another opportunity to sharpen the squad's sprint skills ahead of upcoming races.

Just one day later, at the Tour of the Reservoir, Robyn Clay powered to victory, claiming the top step of the podium in dominant fashion. The result was a testament to her hard work and the incredible team effort behind her. Having spent the majority of the race in the breakaway, Tiffany Keep held on for third place, with Lucy Lee finishing fourth. A dominant team performance saw us take over the lead in the overall team standings. It was a rewarding moment for the squad and the perfect boost heading into the second half of June. Robyn extended her lead in the National Road Series, with Tiff moving into third.

The month wrapped up with National Championships, where DAS-Hutchinson riders proudly represented their countries. In the British Road Race on the 29th of June, Robyn Clay finished an impressive 13th, closely followed by Morven Yeoman in 14th. The Time Trial earlier that week saw Tammy Miller take 12th place, with Lucy Lee in 14th, while Robyn Clay delivered one of the standout performances of the event by securing second place in the Under-23 category. Sophie Lewis finished 4th in the Circuit Race, with Lucy Lee finishing 14th.

Over in Ireland, Aoife O’Brien continued her strong run of form by finishing fifth in the Irish National Road Race, battling hard in a tough field and narrowly missing out on the podium. She finished second in the Under-23 Championships. Julia Van Bokhoven represented the team at the Dutch National Championships, but unfortunately didn’t finish in what was one of the most aggressive and competitive national races on the calendar.

June was a month packed with hard racing, breakthrough performances, and key milestones for the team. The win at the Tour of the Reservoir, consistent GC results in Britain and Switzerland, a podium in the National Time Trial and at the Irish Under-23 Road Race all point to the team's growing strength and cohesion.

As we look ahead to the summer racing calendar, the momentum is building. The riders are showing resilience, confidence, and hunger for more success. The entire DAS-Hutchinson squad is ready for the upcoming months, with eyes firmly set on more podiums, more breakthroughs, and more team victories. We look ahead to a busy month of crit racing, as we take on the National Circuit Series.

We also welcome Noémie Thomson to the team, from July 1st. Having started racing just this season, she’s been making waves in the British National Scene, finishing 2nd at the Tour of the Reservoir, 6th at Lincoln GP and winning every National B race she’s entered. She’s ready to make the next step, and we’re here to support her every step of the way.

Thank you to our supporters, sponsors and fans for being part of this incredible journey.
