Kick-starting 2025
The 2025 season is underway!
The team hit the ground running in 2025, with an action-packed start to the season across road and track. From sunny Mallorca to the velodromes of Europe and the UK, the team has already made its mark, and motivation is high for the year ahead. We’re also excited to have shared our 2025 kit, in partnership with Pedal Mafia.
Mallorca Training Camp – Stuart Hall Cycling Holidays
January saw the team escape the British winter for a training camp in Mallorca, thanks to the generous support of Stuart Hall Cycling Holidays. This was ideal preparation for the first races of the season, with additional support from Stuart and his team. We were fortunate to be able to join the Stuart Hall team for a group ride, including possibly the best cake stop on the island!
Opening the Road Season: Challenge Mallorca
Fresh from a great week’s training, the team lined up for three back-to-back UCI 1.1 races in Mallorca:
January 25: Trofeo Marratxí-Felanitx – We kick started our road season with a fast and action packed race on the flat roads of Mallorca. The squad worked well together as a unit throughout the race, with Lucy finishing inside the top 25, securing the team’s first UCI points of the season. Aoife finished just behind, whilst Lizzie, Tammy, Ruby and Ellie finished safely in the bunch.
January 26: Trofeo Palma Femina – After a rolling 90km start, the roads kicked up and the squad tackled some tough climbs and tricky descents towards the end of the race. As anticipated, the World Tour teams split up the race, with multiple groups coming into the finish. Lizzie and Morven finished strongly just behind the leaders, with Lucy, Aoife, Julia and Ellie finishing safely behind.
January 27: Trofeo Binissalem-Andratx – A challenging route and multiple crosswind sections made for a challenging day out. Lucy put in a huge ride to make the front selection of around 25 riders, which was incredible in itself as she was the only rider from a continental team in the group. She finished 22nd up the tough final climb, rounding out the team’s Mallorca campaign in style.
These early races were an ideal opportunity to test the legs and gain some confidence ahead of a busy season. A huge thank you to Stuart Hall for helping make this trip possible.
UEC Elite European Track Championships
February started off quietly, with focus switching to the track. Sophie and Aoife competed at the UEC Elite European Track Championships (Feb 12-16) in Zolder, Belgium. Sophie secured a bronze medal in the Women’s Team Pursuit as part of the British squad. Aoife was representing Ireland at her first major championship, putting in a strong race to finish 8th overall in the team pursuit.
South African National Road Championships
We had Tiffany Keep in action out in South Africa. She’s started her 2025 campaign back in her home country, before joining the team in early April. She finished a great 3rd at the National Road Championships, on her new Titan Racing Valerian bike. A solid start to the season for Tiff, and we can’t wait to have her back with the squad in Europe!
And beyond…
The start of March has been incredibly busy, and we’ll update on that shortly. DAS Business Furniture hosted a wonderful team launch event, setting the scene for a big year ahead. We’ve also had two trips over to Belgium and are very excited to have announced that we’ll be racing Dwaars Door Vlaanderen, Ronde van Vlaanderen and the Amstel Gold Race over the coming month. We can’t wait!
